Ukraine's Counteroffensive: Four Large Cities Can Be Liberated Very Soon

The Armed Forces of Ukraine may soon liberate four cities from Russian occupiers. These are Donetsk, Melitopol, Kreminna and Svatove. This was told by military expert Mikhaylo Prytula in an interview with TSN.

"Most likely, this is the liberation of such large cities as Donetsk. This is very likely. It can also be the liberation of territories that are now captured in the Zaporizhzhia region. First of all, it could be Melitopol, and I think they will reach Mariupol, but a little later. But Melitopol will be the first city to be liberated in the near future," the expert said.

In addition, according to Prytula, two cities in the Luhansk region, Svatove and Kreminna, may be liberated very soon.

"These territories will also be liberated in the near future. But the logic of the actions of the Ukrainian forces is such that they destroy Russian troops where they are. That is, they protect both equipment and personnel," he said.

As Prytula noted, the onset of winter was a disaster for the invaders. The military leadership of the RF Armed Forces cannot provide for all groupings of troops that are fighting in Ukraine.

"Winter has always been a catastrophe for Russia. The equipment needs a large amount of fuel. It involves a lot of logistics, and the Russian Federation is always bad with this. It is necessary to bring a large number of shells over a long distance. And this is also a big problem for the Russian Federation today. When all this is calculated in a complex, it turns out that for Russia it is a very big problem — to maintain the grouping of troops that it keeps on the territory of Ukraine,” the expert added.
