The frightened invaders will replenish the exchange fund.
In one direction in eastern Ukraine, Ukrainian soldiers captured several Russian occupiers. The invaders were hiding in a forest belt.
During the first interrogation, one of the captives said that he had come to Ukraine because "there was an order" and did not answer the question whether he was aware that he was a war criminal. A video of the captives was made public on the Telegram channel of the Centre for Strategic Communications of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
"Fresh addition to the exchange fund. Captured Russian occupants in the east," StratCom noted.
Judging by the video, at least two Russian invaders have been captured.
In the first video, a Ukrainian soldier deals with a Russian occupant lying on the ground with his hands up. One can see that the captive is frightened.
The second video shows another captive being interrogated for the first time. He confesses that he is a junior lieutenant by rank. When asked by the Ukrainian soldiers why he came to Ukraine with a weapon in his hands, he answers that "there was an order".
But when asked if the occupant is aware that he is a war criminal because he has invaded a neighbouring sovereign and independent country, the invader says nothing.
