The results of the survey have been published.

29% of Belarusians who live abroad plan to start their own business, including 9% who are already taking steps to achieve this. These are the results of a survey conducted by the Association of Belarusian Business Abroad (ABBA), according to MOST.

4% of Belarusians have already started their business in exile and another 14% work as private entrepreneurs, self-employed or freelancers. A little more than half of those who left (53%) do not plan to start their own business.

Individual entrepreneurs are most often employed in the IT sector (56% of respondents), which is also the most popular among those who work or are looking for hired work.

At the same time, the financial situation of entrepreneurs is generally higher than that of those who work or are looking for hired work.

Most of the respondents who took part in the survey are living in Poland. Others relocated to Lithuania, Georgia and Germany.
