Polish President Andrzej Duda has called an urgent meeting with the military after Polish airspace was violated.

The office of Andrzej Duda announced this on Twitter.

The Polish President said that he had a conversation with Polish Defense Minister Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz.

Duda convenes an urgent meeting with the military command today. The meeting starts at 13:00 (14:00 Minsk time). The head of the General Staff of the Polish Army will also be present at the meeting.

The Minister of Defense of Poland has also responded to the incident with an unknown object that flew from Ukraine onto Polish territory. He has stressed that he is in constant contact with the President, Prime Minister, Chief of General Staff and Operational Commander of the Armed Forces.

Today, December 29, Poland recorded an airspace violation by an unidentified object. This happened while Russia was launching a massive missile attack on Ukraine.

The flying object was moving at high speed and was noticed by residents of the village of Dołhobyczów in the Lublin Voivodeship.
