Ex-Official On The Attack Against Machulishchy: Security Services Cannot Protect Lukashenka

The reports in the folders do not match the harsh reality.
On Sunday, a Russian A-50U early warning and control aircraft was damaged by explosions at the Machulishchy military airfield located near Minsk. Some media and Telegram channels claim that drones attacked the Russian aircraft.
The Charter97.org website asked Anatol Kotau, a former employee of Lukashenka’s Administration and the Administrative Directorate, who went over to the side of the people, about the drone attacks near Minsk and the outcome for the Belarusian dictator personally after it:
– Lukashenka does not just control the territory of Belarus. All the repressions and cleansings that entered a new round after 2020 did not lead to anything. The security services, clicking their heels and famously arresting old women and students, are not fulfilling their real task, I mean protecting Lukashenka in this case.
This also indicates that all of his close intelligence services are not quite professional and all-seeing as they report to him. Reports in folders are one thing, and the harsh reality is another. Unarmed people is one case but, let’s say, a prepared operation is another one. I will add that in contrast, if people weren’t sitting, all previous attempts to uncover some kind of “acts of terrorism”, which they themselves were engaged in staging, become ridiculous.
– Back in the summer, Lukashenka promised "an instant response for an attack on the airfield", but now he is silent. Propagandists are also silent. Why?
– The Security Council meeting on this issue is ongoing. They need to figure out who to answer. Unfortunately, the security services will grab totally innocent people, intensify checks and, most likely, everything will be limited to this.
– Will Lukashenka have to somehow report to Putin for such an expensive loss as this aircraft?
– I think that an unpleasant conversation will take place. After all, this is an expensive loss and rarity, the A-50U early warning and control aircraft costs more than 300 million dollars. Again, the nature of the damage is not fully known. In any case, for some time this equipment is disabled. There is a reason for an unpleasant conversation.
On the other hand, Russia has already lost so much unique equipment in this war, it has buried so many billions of dollars into nowhere that 300 million dollars against the background of 100 billion is a statistical uncertainty.
