AFU: Advance On Melitopol Underway, Successes Gained

The Ukrainian army advanced 1.5 kilometers deep into the Russian defenses.

The Armed Forces of Ukraine have been successful in their offensive in the direction of Melitopol and have advanced 1.5 km deep into the Russian defenses. This was reported in the press service of the Defense Forces of the Tauride direction.

The military says that as a result of systemic pressure along the Melitopol line, the Defense Forces have advanced 1.5 km deep — the soldiers are getting settled on the lines, conducting demining and aerial reconnaissance of the area.

The Russians are trying to restore the lost positions in the area of the recently liberated Novodarivka.

Over the past day in the south, 146 invaders were destroyed, 229 were wounded, four were taken prisoner. Also, the Armed Forces of Ukraine hit 15 units of weapons and equipment.

As the Charter97.org website wrote earlier, Ukrainian army units continue their successful advance to the south, taking full control of the Rivnopil village in the Donetsk region.
