‘They Will Have 242 The Day After Tomorrow!’: Russian Propagandists Panicking Over F-16 Supply To Ukraine

“Experts” recognized the advantage of NATO over the Russian Federation.
On Russian television, the hysteria about the transfer of modern American F-16 fighters to Ukraine does not subside. Propagandists complain that the West, as they say, will transfer to the Armed Forces of Ukraine much more pieces of equipment than was proposed the day before.
On the air of Russia 1, the guests invited to the propagandist host Yevgeny Popov did not hide their fear about the transfer of this type of weapon to Ukraine, writes glavred.info.
One of the “experts” even criticized other propagandists who deliberately “downplayed” the consequences of such a decision by the West for the course of hostilities.
“(NATO) will handle this issue. Today — 42, tomorrow — 142, and the day after tomorrow they will have 242! As some of us say, this will not affect the course of hostilities. Yes, it will! And it will significantly help them!” the “expert” threw a tantrum.
He advised Russians, too confident in their own “power”, to take Ukraine's F-16s seriously.
“Because there is an accumulation of some critical mass of weapons by Ukraine. Then a chain reaction will begin, when the weapons will be enough to solve such large strategic operations,” the Russian complained.
Also, the propagandist himself rejected the “stuffing” of the Kremlin presenters, who said the F-16 required special infrastructure.
“Any airfield of the 1st class is quite suitable for this. There are more than enough of them in Ukraine,” the “expert” explained.
Then he began to frighten with F-16 strikes on Russian aircraft and whined that the Russians would not be able to destroy all the airfields of Ukraine with the available Kalibrs, and for other strikes the occupiers did not have air superiority.
F-16 for Ukraine
At the end of August, Ukraine finally agreed on the delivery of the first F-16s. Denmark and the Netherlands have already agreed to transfer Western aviation to the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
Sweden, however, although it has so far refused to supply Gripen, agrees to train Ukrainian defenders on its fighter jets.
It was reported that Denmark will transfer 19 F-16 units to Ukraine — the first 6 are promised to be delivered by the New Year, 8 — in 2024, the remaining 5 — in 2025.
In Denmark, 70 Ukrainian pilots are already training on the F-16s. This is the first wave. The second wave will include graduates of 2023, their training will take place in the UK.
