The SSU and the Navy conducted a new special operation in the Black Sea. The defenders blew up a large Russian oil tanker SIG transporting fuel for Russian troops.
This was reported to RBC-Ukraine by the sources in the SSU.
It is reported that the special operation was carried out according to the classic scenario: a surface drone, 450 kg of TNT, an explosion. As a result, one of the most powerful oil tankers of the Russian Federation (built in 2014, almost 5,000 tons) began its “negative voyage” near the Crimean bridge.
According to preliminary information, the Russian tanker was well loaded with fuel, so the “fireworks” could be seen from afar.
“The SSU conducted its another successful special operation jointly with the Navy. It is interesting that it took place in the territorial waters of Ukraine,” the sources say.
It is worth noting that the Russian tanker SIG has been under US sanctions since 2019 due to fuel supplies to Syria.
