Group Of Eight People Arrested In Minsk For Chanting ‘Glory To Ukraine’

The Lukashists were scared of the protest in the Leninski district.

In the Leninski district of Minsk on July 9, seven men and one woman were detained. According to the protocols, Minskers “took part in an unsanctioned mass event in order to publicly express their disagreement with the conduct of a “special military operation” on the territory of Ukraine, during which they shouted “Glory to Ukraine,” Viasna reports.

They were detained and protocols were drawn up under Article 24.23 of the Code of Administrative Offenses. The trials of Minsk residents took place the next day. The judges of the Leninski district of Minsk sentenced everyone to 15 days of arrest each.

At the trial, a police officer who noticed the “mass event” was also interrogated.

He confirmed that everyone protested against the war.
