Chernyk: Russia Will No Longer Be Able To Build Tu-95s, Which It Fires At Ukraine

Russia's military potential has degraded.
The Armed Forces of Ukraine continue to constantly eliminate the enemy’s resources, and Western partners are putting pressure on the Russian economy with sanctions. It seems that the aggressor country still has the potential to continue the war. However, in reality it is critically small.
Military expert Petro Chernyk told Channel 24 about this, noting that the enemy’s military-industrial complex began to degrade at the end of the Soviet Union.
Russia's military resource is certainly deteriorating
The final degradation of the Russian defense industry occurred in the early 90s.
— I will give just a few examples of specific categories of weapons. Ukrainians experience launches from the Tu-95MS launch vehicle almost every few days, it launches two missiles Kh-101 and Kh-555. The Russians can no longer build the Tu-95MS. And they won't be able to. This is impossible,” the military expert emphasized.
According to Chernyk, one of the reasons is our return to restore it all. After all, our intellect, combined with our, albeit slightly degraded, Soviet complex, gave them a chance in the future.
Also, the invaders will no longer be able to build the Tu-22M3 rocket carrier and the MiG-31K, the Kinzhal carrier either.
In addition, the Soviet Union had six armored tank factories. The Russians have only one left — Uralvaganozavod, which builds T-90 tanks. And this is not a brand new machine, this is the deepest modernization of the T-72. The maximum they can produce is 25 machines per month.
At the same time, the Ukrainian Armed Forces continue to destroy the enemy’s heavy equipment. Since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, the figure is 4,623 tanks.
“The point will come, and it will be final, it will come when everything degrades. But this will not happen within a month or even a year. It will take several more years, and maybe a good two decades. But it will happen,” Petro Chernyk is convinced.
It is important to note that at the end of 2022, Russia had 60 Tu-95MS bomber aircraft. However, the actual number of combat-ready aircraft of this type is much smaller. There are currently about 45 Tu-95MS and 18 Tu-95MSM units in the Russian Federation.
