Ukraine Returns 230 Military Personnel From Captivity

On Wednesday, January 3, Ukraine returned from Russian captivity the military who defended Mariupol and Azovstal.
This was announced by the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky on his Instagram and the Verkhovna Rada Commissioner for Human Rights Dmytro Lubinets in his Telegram.
“Our guys are at home. More than two hundred of our soldiers and civilians were returned from Russian captivity. Soldiers, sergeants, officers. Soldiers of the Armed Forces, National Guard, Navy, border guards. Some of them defended Mariupol and Azovstal,” Zelensky signed the video.
At the same time, in his Telegram, Lubinets reported that 230 military personnel had been returned from captivity.
“Today, on January 3, good news will spread throughout Ukraine, because the defenders who have been in enemy captivity for a long time are returning home,” he wrote.
