Radosław Sikorski: NATO Member States Have Already Sent Troops To Ukraine

The Polish Foreign Minister supported Macron's initiative.

Polish Foreign Minister Radosław Sikorski said that "some countries", which he is not going to name, have already sent their troops to Ukraine.

He stated this during a discussion on the occasion of the 25th anniversary of Poland's accession to NATO in the Polish parliament.

"Unlike other politicians, I will not list these states," the diplomat said.

He supported the initiative of French President Emmanuel Macron to send NATO troops to Ukraine. According to Sikorski, the main goal is an "ingenious" move that will disrupt Russia’s plan.

The Polish Foreign Minister added that by attacking Ukraine, Russia has shown that it is civilizationally incapable of accepting the Western values that defined it as a country that cannot coexist peacefully with its neighbours, and NATO must return to its original role.

Sikorski stated that “the West must implement a creatively defined and asymmetric escalation.”

"I support the initiative of President Emmanuel Macron," Sikorski said.

Recall that during the summit in Paris on February 26, the President of France Emmanuel Macron said that foreign troops could be deployed in Ukraine.
