Zelensky Unveils Putin’s Plans Regarding Belarus And Ukraine

The Ukrainian president explained why the Kremlin actually started the war.

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky emphasized that Russian President Vladimir Putin will not be satisfied with part of the territory of Ukraine, since he needs to destroy the independence of the entire country.

He said this in an interview with the Cinque minuti program of the Italian TV channel Rai.

“His goal is all of Ukraine. Therefore, no one, except the forces of Ukraine and the allied partnership, guarantees anything to Ukraine. We are sure that Putin is not interested in just some territory, city, village, the Crimea, or Donbas. He is interested in completely destroying Ukraine, annexing all these lands of independent Ukraine to Russia,” said the President of Ukraine.

According to Zelensky, Putin does such things either by force and weapons, or politically.

“What he did in Belarus was without casualties and blood, so far. They are allied authorities, where he completely controls both the security bloc on the territory of Belarus and the troops on the territory of Belarus. Proof of this is the attack on the first night of a full-scale invasion. This attack was from the territory of Belarus, missile attacks, troops, etc. This is a diplomatic occupation of an independent country and the loss of the sovereignty of Belarus,” explained the head of the Ukrainian state.

At the same time, in Ukraine, the Russian dictator was unable to do this either diplomatically or politically.

“His party was the second largest in parliament and he had full influence on this and was looking for opportunities to influence parliament within Ukraine. He failed. After his political and parliamentary plan failed, he began a military occupation. Therefore, he has no plan for the Crimea or Donbas, this is just rhetoric. He has a plan to deprive Ukraine of its independence,” Zelensky concluded.
