This is fraught with a new leak of classified information.

Germany remains vulnerable to Russian influence. A whole network of Russian spies continues to operate on the territory of the state, which is fraught with the leakage of classified information.

This was stated by Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council Oleksiy Danilov, The Times reports.

Therefore, according to him, Russian propagandists received a conversation between German officers discussing the transfer of Taurus missiles to Ukraine. The official also suggested that this “leak” is not the last.

“We have repeatedly warned our partners about the spy network of Russians who are very active in Germany,” Danilov noted.

He explained that Russian agents operating in Germany today are descendants of Cold War-era Russian operatives who have been “on the prowl” there since 1989, before the fall of the Berlin Wall.

“The country is very vulnerable to Russian influence, and this is due to their past heritage and cooperation between the Germans and Russians before the full-scale war in Ukraine,” Danilov stated.
