Armed Forces Of Ukraine Officer Speaks About Important Sign Of Lukashenka's Preparation For War With Ukraine

This step could have been made at Putin's instigation.

Since the beginning of the war in Ukraine, Lukashenka has been actively changing the military command — the deputy commander of the Air Force and Air Defense Forces, the deputy commander of the Northwestern Operational Command.

His last replacement was the Chief of the General Staff.

What could be behind such reshuffles? Charter97.org asked this question to the reserve major of the National Guard of Ukraine, veteran of the Russian-Ukrainian war Oleksiy Hetman:

— This was quite expected. After all, serious changes are taking place in the military leadership of the Russian Federation and, apparently, given the “union” of the states, a purge should have taken place in the Armed Forces of Belarus as well.

Replacing the Chief of the General Staff is a pretty serious step. Even Putin did not go for it. The fact is that it is the Chief of the General Staff (and not the Minister of Defense) who plans combat operations.

The Ministry of Defense as a whole is more concerned with providing everything necessary. Performs such managerial functions, but the General Staff is responsible for planning military operations.

It is possible that Lukashenka, at Putin's instigation, decided to change the person who will be responsible for preparing military operations. These operations could begin from the territory of Belarus against Ukraine.

We would really not like this, because then Ukraine would have to immediately strike back. We can reach almost any point in Belarus. We have enough resources, and Lukashenka understands this well.

By the way, it may be the other way around, that Lukashenka has replaced the “war hawk” with a peace-loving person. As soon as they begin some actions in the General Staff, then it will be possible to analyze and understand: is this for more peacekeeping actions in the future or, on the contrary, for more aggressive ones. For now, this is in limbo.
