Democrats Protest In Congress During Trump's Speech

Politicians were holding ‘Musk Steals’ signs.

Some Democrats organised a protest during the address of US President Donald Trump to Congress, holding signs that read ‘Musk Steals’.

The protest was targeting Elon Musk, one of Trump's closest advisers and the richest man in the world. The back of the signs read ‘False’. Also the inscriptions of ‘Save Medicaid’ and ‘Protect Veterans’ were on the protest placards.

The US president directly addressed Democrats in the audience, saying, ‘This is the fifth time I've given a speech to Congress, and every time I realise that there is nothing that can make you happy, make you smile or make you applaud.’

Trump added that even if there had been a global scientific breakthrough or a record drop in crime, Democrats would not have expressed approval of his accomplishments.
