AFU Strike On Druzhba: Key Node Knocked Out Of Service

Satellite images showing the results of the destruction at the Druzhba oil pumping station in the town of Unecha in Russia's Bryansk region have appeared online. According to the new data, most of the pumping units were knocked out of service.

The new footage of the aftermath of the strike was published on September 2 on the Dnipro Osint channel. The photos appeared a week after the last air attack by the AFU's Unmanned Systems Force.

"The strikes knocked out most of the pumping installations," the report said.

According to satellite images, as a result of the attack and fire, the building of the pumping station was completely destroyed: the roof collapsed along the entire length of the structure, several technical rooms and part of the technological equipment were destroyed. Most of the pumping units were put out of operation.

The attack on the Unecha pumping station was the second one in August. The first strike on August 12 destroyed two pumping stations and nearby equipment. The station plays a key role in the transportation of Russian oil: it supplies crude for export to the port of Ust-Luga. The station is also used to ensure supplies to the Belarusian refinery in Mozyr and to pump oil to Slovakia and Hungary.
