Zelensky Responded To Lukashenko

The Ukrainian president ironically commented on the dictator's proposal.

Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky was asked at the Warsaw Security Forum to comment on Alexander Lukashenko's recent statement about a "good offer" to end the war. The Ukrainian leader's response was short and ironic, writes "Zerkalo".

- Could you shed some light on this?" - the presenter asked about the dictator's offer.

- It is difficult for me to respond to Lukashenko's statements right now. He, frankly speaking, lives in his own world. He built it, isolated himself and has been living for three decades in this house. But it is a house the size of a country," Zelensky said.

- The Ukrainian president added that he would like to remind Lukashenko of Belarus' sovereignty.

- I would like him to remember that his country is independent. He lives in his world, but sometimes Putin comes to visit this world. And they are there, two rather elderly people, talking about something. So it is difficult for me to comment on what they are talking about, - concluded Vladimir Zelensky to laughter and applause in the hall.
