Totally.
Internet has disappeared across Afghanistan, international internet monitoring service NetBlocks has pointed out.
The problems with network access began after the country's authorities, the radical Islamist Taliban, shut down the fiber-optic network as part of a morale-boosting crackdown.
A earlier Afghan media reported that the supreme leader of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan, Haibatullah Akhundzada, had ordered a ban on the use of wired internet in several regions to "prevent immoral behavior." On Sept. 18, broadband internet was cut off in 11 of Afghanistan's 34 provinces.
