Ukrainian defense forces continue counter-offensive operation near Dobropillya and have significant successes. This was announced by Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky during his evening video address, the Office of the President of Ukraine reports.

Zelensky said that he received a report from the AFU Commander-in-Chief Alexander Syrsky on the situation on the front. He stressed that the Dobropolsk counter-offensive operation was continuing and thanked all the units involved for their performance.

As of the beginning of the day, Ukrainian forces managed to liberate more than 174 square kilometers of territory, as well as clear more than 194 square kilometers from Russian saboteurs.

"Russian losses within this operation alone are almost 3,200, and most of them are irrecoverable losses," the head of state said.

The Ukrainian president added that he had received reports on the situation in Kupyansk, on border areas He noted that Ukrainian soldiers are doing everything necessary to defend positions and thanked them for their loyalty.
