The U.S. president stated that the parties had allegedly reached an agreement.

U.S. President Donald Trump announced an energy truce between Ukraine and Russia. He posted a statement to that effect on his social media account Truth Social.

According to the White House chief, both sides have agreed to an energy truce. He also asked that it not be violated.

“Effective immediately, an ‘energy truce’ is in effect in the war between Russia and Ukraine. Both sides have agreed. Do not violate it! Thank you for your attention to this matter,” the White House chief noted.

It should also be noted that neither Ukraine nor Russia has yet officially confirmed Trump’s statement.
