The Spice Girls' Revealing Outfits Will Be Put Up For Sale To Benefit Charity

52-year-old Melanie C, known as “Sporty Spice” from the Spice Girls, has decided to part with several iconic items from her wardrobe. The proceeds will go to Red Cross charity programs, according to the Australian news portal news.com.au.

The singer will donate three memorable outfits to a charity drive organized by Uber and the Red Cross. Among them are a gray sequined suit she wore while performing in London, a short black Gucci dress in the style of the Spice Girls era, and a green tracksuit with yellow accents.

The last outfit was even compared to the clothing of former Australian Prime Minister John Howard.
“It’s really hard for me to part with tracksuits. I love them, and I have a lot of them,” Melanie C admitted.
The singer hopes her example will inspire fans to go through their own closets and donate items they no longer use to those who need them.

“I enjoyed wearing these items, but now it’s time for someone else to appreciate them,” she explained.
