The restrictions are in effect for 10 years.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy imposed sanctions against the Belarusian crypto platform White Bird and its CEO Maxim Shabanov.

The restrictions are in effect for 10 years. They include a ban on the provision of electronic services, the blocking of the crypto platform’s website, and other measures. In July of this year, White Bird was already added to the European Union’s sanctions list.

In a decree issued on Sunday, Zelenskyy also imposed sanctions against Russian companies associated with the crypto business.

These companies had previously been subject to restrictions by the European Union or the United States, and some were subject to restrictions by both entities. Specifically, this refers to legal entities associated with the A7 network. Companies from Kyrgyzstan, Thailand, and other countries operating in the crypto sector have also been hit with Ukrainian sanctions.
