The Ukrainian Armed Forces are pushing back the Russian occupiers.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy stated after a meeting of the High Command that Ukrainian troops continue to mount an active defense and are gradually pushing back the occupiers. In the Dobropillya area about two hundred Russian soldiers are dying every day.

The President of Ukraine reported this in his video address.

Zelenskyy said he had chaired a meeting of the General Staff, during which they heard an important report on the situation at the front. According to him, Ukrainian forces are continuing their active defense and are gradually pushing back the enemy.

“Russian casualties have risen in recent months. In the Dobropillya area alone, the Russians are losing about two hundred men killed every day. They also have many seriously wounded. We are stopping all of the enemy’s attempts to advance and penetrate our territory, and we are doing everything possible to achieve this,” he noted.

Zelenskyy stated that Ukraine’s positions on the front lines remain strong, and this year they are the strongest they have been in a long time.

According to him, in some areas of the front, the Russians outnumber us six to eight to one, but Ukraine is still achieving the necessary results.

Zelenskyy specifically recognized the soldiers of:

the 12th “Azov” Special Forces Brigade of the National Guard of Ukraine;

the 1st Presidential “Bureviy” Brigade;

the 95th Separate Airborne Assault Brigade;

the 413th “Raid” Regiment of the Ukrainian Armed Forces’ Unmanned Systems Forces;
the 104th Separate Territorial Defense Brigade of the Ukrainian Armed Forces;
the “Phoenix” Border Detachment of the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine.

He thanked all the units that are fully carrying out their combat missions and using their weapons as effectively as possible, as well as everyone who “is fighting for Ukraine as if for themselves.”
