Cards aren't working, and taxi drivers and delivery drivers are having a hard time doing their jobs.
Yandex services in Belarus continued to experience disruptions on Monday, October 12, according to Blizko.by.
For example, “Yandex. Documents” would not open.
“Yandex. Maps” shows the Slepyanskaya water system at a playground.
You can order a taxi on “Yandex GO,” but users report instances where two cars arrive for the same customer. Taxi drivers themselves, like couriers, complain about problems with the apps—in particular, the lack of navigation.
Problems with Yandex services in Belarus began on the morning of October 11. The company’s data centers located in Russia have come under drone attack several times in recent days. For example, on the night of October 8, the Ukrainian Armed Forces attacked a data center in Sasovo, Ryazan Oblast; the following day, a facility in Kaluga, 160 kilometers from Moscow, was hit. And on the night of Sunday, October 11, a data center in Vladimir was struck.
Following the attacks, users in Russia and Belarus have reported disruptions to “Yandex GO,” “Yandex Eda,” “Alisa,” and other company services.
