The U.S. president said he would speak with Musk.

U.S. President Donald Trump said he would speak with SpaceX CEO Elon Musk if Ukraine encounters problems with Starlink.

Trump told reporters this on October 23.

Reporters asked him about restrictions on Starlink’s service for the Ukrainian military, which, according to media reports, have not ceased even after Trump’s statements about resuming the service.

“If there’s a problem, I’ll solve it,” the politician replied.

Trump also said he had not spoken with Musk regarding Ukraine’s access to Starlink: “I haven’t spoken with Elon Musk. I may have to, but I haven’t yet. If this isn’t fixed, I’ll talk to him. I’ve heard that it’s already been fixed”.

Trump avoided giving a clear answer to the question of who ordered the restriction on the Ukrainian military’s use of Starlink. He told a CNN reporter:

“I haven’t the faintest idea. And even if I did, I wouldn’t tell you. Why would I tell you that?”
