In Gomel, Two Women Were Dancing In The Street

In Gomel, two women were fined for dancing on the roadway of one of the city’s central streets. Law enforcement officials found a video of them on social media, reports the Telegram channel of the Gomel Regional Executive Committee’s Internal Affairs Directorate.

According to reports, the video was discovered while monitoring social media and later in the recordings of the Republican Public Safety Monitoring System. Law enforcement believes the women created a hazardous situation and endangered their own lives.

The women involved in the dance were identified. They turned out to be a 40-year-old resident of Gomel and a 42-year-old resident of the Gomel District. Both were fined under Part 3 of Article 18.20 of the Code of Administrative Offenses (Creating a Hazardous Situation). The Internal Affairs Department did not specify the amount of the fine.
