Brent Crude Fell By More Than $4 Per Barrel During The Day

One of the factors behind the drop in prices is the Democratic Party's lead in the congressional elections.
The price of Brent crude oil futures for January delivery on the ICE exchange in London fell below $96 per barrel to $95.5 per barrel. This is the lowest price for this grade of crude since September 30.
The price is currently down 7.5%. A few hours ago, futures were trading at $100 per barrel.
One factor behind the decline in fuel prices is the Democratic Party’s lead in the U.S. midterm congressional elections. Reuters notes that investors are counting on a shift in the White House’s foreign policy and expect an end to military operations in Iran.
