A four-bedroom apartment priced at $1.5 million has been listed for sale in a “gated” building in Minsk. The apartment is located in the very center of the Belarusian capital, not far from Victory Square, according to the listing at kufar.by .

We’re talking about a five-story building at 7 Rumyantseva Street. It is one of three buildings where housing could not originally be purchased by just anyone: only a select few were entitled to it. Because of this, such buildings were popularly dubbed “secret,” and at one time they were considered among the most elite addresses in Minsk.

There are ten apartments in the building in total. A four-room apartment on the third floor, with an area of 163 square meters, is for sale.

The interior is designed like a palace: a classic style with Baroque and Neoclassical motifs.

The largest room measures 58 square meters and opens onto a 12-meter-long kitchen, which has no windows—it is located at the far end of the apartment.

There are two bedrooms—13 and 19 square meters. The smaller one has a small walk-in closet and its own bathroom with a shower, accessible only from the bedroom.

The second, spacious bedroom features a bay window, and its centerpiece is a large bed with a massive, carved, gold-toned headboard upholstered in velvet. From here, you can also access the four-square-meter walk-in closet.

Next door is a nearly ten-meter-long bathroom with a corner tub and a shower stall; a separate corner houses the washer and dryer.

Unlike the other rooms, the bathrooms are decorated in a more modern style. There is also a third, guest bathroom—equipped only with a toilet and sink.

The owners have converted the fourth room, measuring 13 square meters, into a study in a classic English style.

The price for this apartment in the city center, located in a gated complex with 24-hour security, video surveillance, a concierge, and underground parking, is 4.5 million rubles—approximately $1.5 million. That’s about $9,300 per square meter, making it one of the most expensive properties in Minsk.
