Mitt Romney cited a number of mistakes made by the White House chief.
Former Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney sharply criticized Donald Trump following the Republicans’ defeat in the midterm elections for Congress, noted BILD.
“Bad political decisions and a bad character lead to bad policies,” said Romney, who had previously criticized Trump on numerous occasions, including during his time in the Senate.
Among the administration’s mistakes, Romney cited an “impulsive war against Iran,” mass pardons, alleged corruption, and “the use of the judicial system for political purposes.” He also criticized the harsh methods of the Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agency, the rise in the national debt, and the concealment of information regarding the case of Jeffrey Epstein, who was convicted of sex crimes.
In addition, Romney accused the administration of failing to support U.S. allies and of taking “an excessively lenient stance toward the country’s adversaries.”
