Lukashenko Decided To "lay Low" In Gorodets

The location was not chosen at random.

Dictator Lukashenko visited the “Gorodets” agricultural enterprise, which he once headed. The ruler reiterated that the enterprise must be saved. However, there is another important aspect to Lukashenko’s trip to his hometown (which is only 25 kilometers from Alexandria, where his residence is located).

The media noted that following a series of difficult events for the dictator, he has been heading to the Shklov District. In July 2024, when Lukashenko fell ill at the SCO summit in Astana, the dictator immediately headed to Alexandria.

A similar trip followed a difficult conversation with Putin in October 2024.

Perhaps Lukashenko is deeply troubled by the Republican Party’s crushing defeat in the U.S. congressional elections, since he can now definitely forget about his “big deal” with Washington is definitely out of the question.

Given that the dictator has switched to a three-day workweek—working only on Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday—Lukashenko may spend the entire weekend at his “power base.”
