U.S. First Lady Melania Trump is giving a speech at the White House dedicated to the humanitarian operation in Oleshky. She had previously announced that representatives from Russia and Ukraine would meet in person at this event.

“I hope that the operation in Oleshky will lead to a broader peace. Every significant transformation begins with a small spark,” — she said in her speech.

Melania Trump delivered letters to representatives of Russia and Ukraine addressed to Vladimir Putin and Volodymyr Zelenskyy. The White House reported this following the November 5 meeting.

According to the statement, Trump handed the letters to the highest-ranking representatives of the two countries present at the conclusion of her speech. The White House did not disclose the contents of the letters.
