Ukrainian Spies Destroyed Russian Air Defense Systems Worth Tens Of Millions Of Dollars

In January 2026, fighters of the special unit of the Ukrainian Defense Ministry's GUR "Ghosts" with the help of drones at the front destroyed 6 air defense facilities of the occupying army of the Russian Federation. This was reported by the GUR of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine.
According to the GSD, last month Ukrainian military scouts destroyed the following enemy front-line air defense systems with drones: Pantsir-S1 anti-aircraft missile and cannon system, Tor-M1 anti-aircraft missile system, Tor-M2 anti-aircraft missile system together with a transport-loading vehicle, RLM-ME from the Nebo-M radar system, and a mobile decimeter range radar station of the Opponent-GE anti-aircraft missile system.
The total cost of enemy air defense equipment destroyed by Ukrainian "ghosts" in January can be estimated at tens of millions of dollars. The Pantsir-S1 alone cost between 13 and 20 million dollars, depending on the version.
Ukrainian military scouts of the "Ghosts" unit are constantly searching for and destroying enemy air defense assets. Priority targets are anti-aircraft missile systems and radar systems.
According to the AFU General Staff, so far, from February 24, 2022 to February 7, 2026, the Ukrainian Defense Forces fighters have destroyed 1,295 Russian air defense systems. In addition, the Russian occupation army has already lost in the war against Ukraine more than 1.2 million people killed and wounded, 11,650 tanks, more than 24,000 armored fighting vehicles, more than 37,000 artillery systems, 1,627 MLRS, 435 aircraft, 347 helicopters, 28 ships and boats, as well as 2 submarines.
The most "hot" sections of the front in early February 2026 are Pokrovskoye and Gulyaipolskoye directions. According to the AFU General Staff, the Russian occupants attacked AFU positions 41 times in the Pokrovsk direction yesterday, February 6, and 21 times in the Gulyaipol direction. The enemy is trying to completely seize Pokrovsk and Gulyaypol, but the AFU soldiers are holding their positions.
