CNN: The Ukrainian Armed Forces Have Cut Off The Russians' "oil Faucet"

Russian oil refineries have been paralyzed.
While the Kremlin is earning extra revenue on the back of high oil prices and sanctions circumvention, the Ukrainian military is focusing on "shutting down the tap" by striking at key enemy infrastructure. This was reported by CNN, citing a statement by Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky and satellite data.
Sources said at least a dozen large-scale attacks on Russian facilities have been carried out over the past month, some of which are located deep in the rear.
The Vantor company published satellite images from March 27, 2026, showing a large fire at the Ust-Luga oil terminal in northern Russia.
A facility in Yaroslavl was also hit. Despite statements by Governor Mikhail Evraev about the "neutralization of more than 30 drones," the Ukrainian side claims that there was a direct hit, which caused a serious fire.
A raid on a facility in the Baltic Sea was particularly sensitive for the Russian side. According to the Ukrainian Security Service, the drones "damaged oil refueling stations and a tank farm where oil and oil products are stored."
