Five Explosions And A Flash In The Sky: The AFU Attacked The Chemical Plant In Togliatti

On Monday morning, March 30, drones attacked the Russian city of Togliatti in the Samara region. The strike is reported to have targeted a local chemical plant.

According to Russian Telegram channel Shot, locals heard about five loud explosions and saw flashes in the sky over several areas of the city. Samara Region Governor Vyacheslav Fedorishchev reported the UAV threat.

Official information about casualties and damage is not yet available.

Telegram channel Exilenova+, citing local residents, writes that the KuibyshevAzot plant was the target of the attack.

The drones had already attacked Togliatti on the night of March 21. Then it was reported about a fire in the area of chemical enterprises "Togliattikauchuk" and "KuibyshevAzot".

"KuibyshevAzot" produces nitrogen fertilizers and chemical raw materials (caprolactam, polyamides). The company was already attacked by Ukrainian Defense Forces drones earlier in March.
