Belarus has invented "some kind of laser" that "burns a drone at one and a half to two kilometers. Alexander Lukashenko told about the "development" of the military on April 22 during a visit to Minsk aeroclub DOSAAF. The ONT TV channel showed this fragment of the visit.

The dictator emphasized that today none of the countries "has a hundred percent effective system" to combat drones.

- How to detect this drone? And what is better to shoot it down with? Or with twin machine guns, or just with a machine gun? We have learned to bypass REB drones," said Alexander Lukashenko.

He added that Belarus had allegedly "developed" its own system of fighting drones.

- Ours invented some kind of laser. I want to see it. Quite effective, the defense minister says, it burns a drone for one and a half to two kilometers," Lukashenko said.
