Up to $108.75 a barrel.
Against the background of a pause in negotiations between the United States and Iran on the settlement of the war, prices for the benchmark oil grade Brent rose. This was reported by Reuters on April 27.
Brent futures, the agency notes, rose to about $108.75 per barrel (i.e. by 3.29% during the day), which is the highest price for the last three weeks.
On this background, the weakening of the U.S. dollar against other world currencies is also recorded: in particular, the euro-dollar exchange rate rose by 0.11% (to $1.1733/€).
