The factory applied to the court on its own.
One of the oldest shoe manufacturers in Belarus, Neman factory, is on the verge of bankruptcy. The Economic Court of Hrodna voblast has already started proceedings on the financial insolvency of the enterprise. The corresponding information appeared in the Unified State Register of Bankruptcy Information.
The factory "Neman" has been operating since 1939 and specializes in the production of children's shoes. For many Belarusians the company is known for its classic children's sandals, familiar from the Soviet times.
The company itself applied to the court to start the procedure.
Now a protective period has been introduced for the factory "Neman" - a special procedure, within the framework of which the temporary manager must assess the possibility of restoring the solvency of the company and determine whether bankruptcy can be avoided.
This stage will last until June 1.
According to the court materials, the overdue accounts payable of the enterprise is about 4.253 million rubles. Of this amount, about 3.17 million are debts to creditors, and another 1.082 million are obligations on loans and credits.
In addition, 54 enforcement proceedings have already been initiated against the factory "Neman". The total amount of claims on them exceeds 1.423 million rubles, and also includes 22.9 thousand euros and 94.1 thousand Ukrainian hryvnias.
The value of the property of the enterprise is estimated at about 14.1 million rubles. This amount includes finished products in warehouses worth more than 5.2 million rubles.
But "Neman" has almost no free cash - only about 22 thousand rubles.
A preliminary plan of rehabilitation has already been prepared for "Neman", which provides measures for financial rehabilitation. Before going to court, the management of the company also made attempts to stabilize the situation on its own.
