United States President Donald Trump arrived in Beijing on Wednesday, May 13, for two days of high-level talks with Chinese leader Si Jinping.

The head of the U.S. presidency is expected to take part in a brief welcome ceremony at the airport. According to the White House, Trump will be met by Chinese Vice President Han Zheng and other officials, including American Ambassador to China David Perdue, his Chinese counterpart Xie Feng, and Chinese First Vice Foreign Minister Ma Zhaoxu.

In addition, the President of the United States will be greeted by 300 Chinese youths in blue and white uniforms who will march down the runway holding PRC flags, along with a military honor guard and military band.

Si Jinping will officially welcome Trump on Thursday morning local time.
