May 14-20, traffic police officers will conduct raids across Belarus to prevent accidents involving trucks, reports the newspaper "Svetly Shliakh.

The control will be strengthened in respect of drivers and vehicles of organizations and enterprises.

Inspectors will also check the condition of heavy trucks.

The portal pristalica.by specifies that special attention will be paid to the technical supervision of the condition of vehicles, the reliability of cargo fastening, as well as equipment that carries dangerous and heavy goods.

The traffic police urges truck drivers to follow the rules, choose a safe speed and distance.

Before starting the movement and on the way, one should watch the position of the cargo, so that it does not shift and fall out on the road.

One of the most pressing problems is also the issue of parking of trucks. Employees of the State Automobile Inspectorate regularly check this issue as well.
