The AFU Cut The Occupants' Land Corridor To Crimea

Gasoline tankers are on fire, truck traffic is stopped.
Ukraine's defense forces have seriously complicated Russian military logistics in the occupied south by virtually paralyzing traffic along the land corridor to Crimea via the Rostov-on-Don-Dzhankoy highway, writes "Dialogue".
The highway in question is R-280, which runs through the occupied territories and has long remained an important supply route for Russian troops. However, in recent months, after the increase in distance of Ukrainian drones, the movement along it has become extremely risky for the occupants: military trucks and gasoline tankers are increasingly being hit.
According to the Ukrainian side, the situation has forced the Russian military to limit the movement of cargo transport through the Dzhankoy checkpoint at the entrance to Crimea. Against this background, fuel outages and restrictions on its sale have already been recorded on the peninsula.
The situation was commented on by Ukrainian volunteer and advisor to the defense minister Sergey Sternenko. According to him, the operation to disrupt logistics will continue.
"I recommend the enemy to close other checkpoints at once. There will be none anyway. The Ukrainian army will systematically isolate the Russians in the occupied territories," he said.
Sternenko also noted that for 2026, the Ukrainian Defense Ministry has signed record contracts for the delivery of medium-range attack drones.
In the meantime, Russian Z-channels suggest disguising military gasoline tankers and trucks as civilian vehicles to make the work of Ukrainian intelligence and drones more difficult. The Ukrainian side believes that such ideas could create additional risks for civilians.
