Yesterday, May 22, a delegation from Qatar arrived in Tehran to help negotiate the terms of a peace agreement between the United States and Iran.

This was reported by Reuters, citing insider information. According to Reuters, the Qatari delegation flew to Tehran after consultations with the White House.

The Qatari representatives will try to convince the Iranian authorities to sign a peace deal with the United States to end the war in the Middle East. What arguments the Qatari delegation has brought for the Iranian authorities is not yet known.

Doha has not yet commented on Reuters' information about the arrival of Qatari representatives in Tehran for talks. Qatar has not previously been seen in diplomatic efforts to end the war in the Middle East. The fact is that Doha is an ally of the United States. In this regard, Iran has attacked Qatari strategic sites several times. For example, in March, Iranian missiles and UAVs attacked facilities in the city of Ras Laffan, which is Qatar's main liquefied natural gas production center, at least twice.
