Journalists Visited Ukrainian Secret Military Factories

The whole of Western Ukraine today has actually turned into a technological hub.
Ukraine has rolled out large-scale drone production at secret facilities to combat Russian "Shaheds" attacking the country. According to Fox News, yesterday's students and white-collar workers have been actively involved in the round-the-clock assembly of kamikaze drones and interception systems. What started as a local volunteer initiative has rapidly turned into one of the fastest growing sectors of military unmanned aviation in the world.
According to Ukrainian officials, Kiev now holds the lead among NATO countries in terms of frontline innovation. This unique, battle-worn experience is crucial for the United States and Israel, which are facing similar Iranian UAV technology in the Persian Gulf region.
"Drone technology has fundamentally changed the situation on the battlefield. In just six months or a year, we will be able to put up to 1,000 drones in the air at the same time. If we manage to establish closer integration between Ukraine, the US, Israel and Europe, we will create unique equipment for our victory," said Lviv Mayor Andriy Sadovoy in an exclusive commentary for Fox News Digital.
The IT war: cheap drones vs. expensive armor
The Ukrainian defense industry is demonstrating impressive scaling rates. The head of a UAV manufacturing company named Dmytro said that his company produces about 1,000 units weekly:
"We are three to four steps ahead of other states... These are conflicts of a new type. This is a real IT war," he emphasized.
Fox News journalists note that the advent of budget drones has overturned classic military doctrine. Now small units are able to identify and eliminate tanks, armored vehicles and expensive air defense systems, which previously required scarce fighter jets or precision missiles to destroy.
Secret laboratories of Western Ukraine
All of Western Ukraine has now effectively become a technological hub: there is a network of closed workshops, test sites and defense technology centers, working under the incessant sounds of air alerts.
One of the technicians, Vitaly, who assembles attack drones for the front line, produces hundreds of critical components every day.
"Our targets will be enemy vehicles, tanks, manpower and fortified positions," he told reporters.
The scale of progress is most visible in Lviv's specialized technology centers. On the exhibition grounds there are a number of domestic interceptor drones, ground-based unmanned platforms and robotic weapon systems with remote control. All of this is clear evidence of how powerful an evolutionary leap the Ukrainian military technology ecosystem has made.
