This may reveal the Kremlin's plans.

In early 2026, Russians are increasingly being issued "mobilization orders", which may indicate that Russia is preparing for general mobilization.

This is reported by The Moscow Times.

According to the publication, military commissions are calling Russians "to clarify information", and as a result, they are more often receiving "mobilization orders". This information is confirmed by search queries in Google and Yandex.

In particular, since the end of March, Google began to record a surge of queries using the keywords "mobilization order", and already in early April - there was a peak in the number.

According to Google Trends, the status of "super-popular" queries received the phrases: "pasted mobilization order", "how long is the mobilization order", "red mobilization order".

In turn, "Yandex" Wordstat recorded search queries of Russians on "mobilization regulations" as early as the fall of 2025, and then there was an almost 4-fold jump in such queries in winter and early spring. Just in January, the request was fixed at the level of 10 thousand, and already in April about 40 thousand.

TMT explains that a mobilization order is issued on the basis of a decision of the municipal draft board. It contains instructions on what a person should do in case mobilization is announced, namely, where and when to come and what to take with him/her. As a rule, the instruction is pasted or inserted into the military card.

Other facts

The project "Call to Conscience" wrote back in early April that people who are summoned by the military commission report "mobilization orders". Moreover, these summonses are mostly received by reserve soldiers, who are summoned to "clarify their data. They try to paste a mobilization order, persuade them to join the reserve or sign a contract with the Russian army.

In addition, there have been recordings of other events. In particular, in February, the project "Go to the forest" wrote about the fact that the employees of a large company were confiscated military tickets with the subsequent issuance of subpoenas and the proposal to "paste a mobilization order".

Also in March, the administration of the village of Novoromanova (Altai Krai) posted lists "to receive mobilization orders". That is, the men were obliged to show up with military IDs.

Information about the pasting of prescriptions also came from conscripts from Novosibirsk and the Chelyabinsk region. According to a representative of one of them, Russian military commissions are now working on teams, checking everyone and adding to the group those who "may be useful to the army," calling it "preparation for general mobilization and selection of candidates."
