The overall approval rating of US President Donald Trump among Americans has fallen to a record low level for all two terms of his stay in power - to 37%. Such data were obtained in a joint poll by The Washington Post, ABC News and Ipsos.

According to the results of the study, 62% of surveyed US residents oppose the policy of the American leader. 66% of respondents disapprove of his actions regarding Iran, while only 34% of survey participants support his economic policies. The president's approval rating on inflation fell to 27%.

The Washington Post noted that Trump's weakening position puts Republican seats in the House and Senate at risk in the November 3, 2026 elections.
