A Drone Interceptor With A Top Speed Of Over 450 Km/h Has Been Developed In Ukraine

The Ukrainian company Yartura has unveiled a new interceptor drone with a top speed of 450 km/h and protection against enemy electronic warfare.

This was reported by Charter97.org, citing the company’s press service.

The new drone has been named Dancer 4.5.0. The interceptor drone from this system, with an operational speed of up to 450 km/h, is equipped with an AI-based automatic target-tracking module.

The drone has a maximum target engagement altitude of up to 4.8 km and an operational range of up to 30 km. The system is equipped with an automatic target tracking system (ATTS), which allows for a second attack on the target in the event of a failed first attempt.

Interestingly, the system is capable of automatically taking off, reaching the target area based on data from detection systems, and independently identifying potential targets using an autonomous guidance module. This reduces the workload on the crew during mission execution.

The high level of automation reduces operator training time and simplifies the deployment of new crews. The system’s minimum crew consists of three people: a pilot, a gunner, and a driver-sapper.

The company also notes that thanks to LTE control, a single operator can simultaneously monitor the operation of several interceptors.
