The Drone Attack On Moscow Revealed A Very Interesting Detail

The reason isn't just technical limitations.
System-wide drone attacks on Moscow have shown that Russian authorities are deliberately failing to activate full-scale public warning systems for air threats. The reason likely lies not only in technical limitations but also in a political reluctance to acknowledge the scale of the strikes.
Political analyst Igor Reiterovich told “Channel 24” that the absence of air raid sirens in Moscow during the attacks may be a deliberate decision by the Kremlin aimed at preventing panic and public acknowledgment of the problems.
Why Russia Doesn’t Sound Air Raid Alarms During Drone Attacks
Igor Reiterovich emphasized that there are two possible reasons for the absence of the warning system: either it is technically flawed, or the authorities are deliberately not activating it to avoid demonstrating vulnerability.
He noted that sounding the air raid siren would automatically imply public acknowledgment of a large-scale attack, which the Kremlin is trying to avoid.
The political analyst also pointed out that the Russian authorities are trying to contain information about the strikes so that it does not spread beyond specific regions. According to him, official reports often boil down to statements about the allegedly successful operation of air defense systems and minimal consequences.
“And what will the reaction of Russians be? There won’t be one. Because this is a population that lacks the courage to take to the streets, voice any complaints, and so on,” said Reiterovich.
He cited examples from Russia’s border regions, where discontent among the population began to emerge only after prolonged shelling and the absence of a warning system.
