Traffic through the Henichesk Strait has been suspended.
On the night of June 20, several Russian military targets came under attack. In particular, a bridge used by the occupiers to transport supplies between Crimea and the front lines was struck.
This was reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
According to military sources, units of the Defense Forces struck a road bridge across the Henichesk Strait near Henichesk in the Kherson region.
“The enemy uses this facility to facilitate military logistics between the temporarily occupied Crimea and Russian troop formations in the southern sector,” the General Staff noted.
In addition, a Russian “Pantsir-S” anti-aircraft missile and gun system was destroyed in the Zaporizhzhia region near the village of Dolynske.
The Ukrainian military also struck enemy drone control centers. Strikes were recorded in the areas of Soledar in the Donetsk region, Grozove in the Zaporizhzhia region, and Terebreno in the Belgorod region of the Russian Federation.
“The Ukrainian Defense Forces continue to systematically reduce the Russian aggressor’s ability to continue hostilities against Ukraine,” the military concluded.
