"Swarms" of UAVs are heading toward the Russian capital.
On the night of Monday, June 22, and on the morning of that day, Moscow was once again subjected to a drone attack. Russians are reporting en masse that drones are flying over the region toward the Russian capital.
This was reported by RBC-Ukraine citing Russian Telegram channels.
Shortly after 3:00 a.m., footage began appearing in OSINT public channels showing residents of various cities in the Moscow Region recording the flight of unidentified drones. The closer it gets to morning, the more such footage appears.
At the same time, Moscow Mayor Sergey Sobyanin—also starting around 3:00 a.m.—began actively posting about the alleged shooting down of drones flying toward the Russian capital.
As of 5:10 a.m., he reported that air defense forces had allegedly already shot down 59 drones. Among these posts were also reports simply stating that an “attack had been repelled,” which may suggest that some drones reached Moscow and were shot down within the city limits.

At this time, there is no information yet on the consequences. At the same time, Russians reported that air defense systems were deployed directly on the bridge near the “Sadovod” shopping center and the Moscow Oil Refinery in the Kapotnya district.
As a reminder, the historic attack on Moscow took place on Thursday, June 18. On that day, the Moscow Oil Refinery in the Kapotnya district came under attack, causing Russians to report fires and widespread smoke.
