Drones Attacked A Bearing Factory In Penza

On the night of July 1, drones attacked the Russian city of Penza. Online reports indicate a fire at a bearing factory.

This was reported by RBC-Ukraine citing Russian Telegram channels.

It is reported that a missile alert was declared in the city, followed by the sounding of a siren.

Later, residents of Penza reported a series of explosions. Local authorities claim that air defense systems were engaged against drones.

There are also reports online that heavy smoke was detected near the State Bearing Plant (GPZ) following the attack.

At the same time, there are reports that the smoke was seen in the area of the Penza Research Institute of Electronic and Mechanical Devices.

There are also reports of an attack on OJSC “Mayak”—a defense enterprise specializing in the production of radio-electronic equipment, control devices, communication systems, and military products.

In addition, the governor of the Penza Region stated that drone debris damaged power lines in the region.
